Here’s how I make tea at work - a little electric water boiler that holds enough for a large travel mug. I really like the Contigo Autoseal mugs. There were a couple different versions and I found the one that works best for me. Still tastes better out of glazed ceramic instead of metal and plastic though. English Breakfast with honey or Lemon Lift with brown cane sugar are my favorites.

I have a loose leaf that I also enjoy at home.

Thursday of the final week of the fiscal year, which also coincides with doing mid year performance evals for my folks. And Congress still hasn't passed a budget or even a continuing resolution. There'll definitely be a second cup this morning.

My Buck 112 paired with a fine loose leaf Russian Caravan. A good morning!

Cool picture. I’ll have to look up Russian Caravan - I’ve never heard of it.
Classifications with tea are loose and uncertain, since there is no governing authority over names, labels, varieties, etc. Generally speaking, Russian Caravan is a blend of Chinese smoky teas and straight up Chinese black/red teas. The smoke is light but noticeable. Upton Tea is a major importer and has a reliable supply line on this and many other varieties of tea. Good online business that ships fast and reliably.

We got a care package from a family member that included some home-grown honey, so I've been using that lately for my tea. Shown here in my iced tea. I brew a cup of Scottish Breakfast Tea, sweeten it with the honey, and then quench it with ice (I think the wifey picks up the bagged ice from Chic-fil-a or something)

That looks really good. I have tried making some ice tea with black tea, oranges etc but haven’t quite got the taste to my liking yet.

Yea, I've made it a few times that didn't turn out well too. I think the key for me was how much the ice dilutes it (I dump the ice straight in the hot tea rather than waiting for it to cool), and it doesn't hurt that I'm a southern boy raised on sweet tea and use what many might consider too much honey. Come to think of it, I've only ever made it this way with the little nugget ice.

Or maybe it's the Wild Turkey 101 that I add 🤣 🤣 j/k

Carrying one of Grandpa’s Barlows along with my Frontier Valley today. He’s the man who taught me to sharpen.

Camco - for when your pockets are too deep, and your arms too short to buy Camillus. LOL! This is a nice and thin but very solid little two-blade. Here’s a quote I found online:

“Camco was the economy line for Camillus. Generally they are the same steel and quality as the Camillus branded knives of the same era. The main saving in the manufacturing process was on the finish work.”

That is indeed the best ice, hands down.

I usually use whatever honey is cheapest at the grocery store, but just today a guy at work brought in a QUART jar of Sourwood honey for me from his family farm! He said based on the color it's technically a hybrid of Sourwood and whatever else was blooming in the area. I'm looking forward to trying it. I usually just have one cup each morning when I get to the office, but I just may need a second today after lunch. :)
