Knives and wives

My wife could care less and the nicest knife and gun I have she bought for me. She knows it makes me happy. On the other hand, if she wants shoes, nails or anything else I am happy she is happy.

My wife is ambivalent about blades. She doesn't see why I'm so attracted or why I have so many. But she is a great housekeeper, and always picks them up and hides them away somewhere. Like a squirrel hiding nuts. So I just buy new ones.

I gave up on sharpening her kitchen knives. Seems she is fond of banging them together in the sink or trying to slice ceramic plates in half. No man is equal to that.

I sharpen the kitchen knives for my own use regardless of how she treats them. It's easier to buy a new knife than trade in a wife.
