Knives for Kids at KnivesShipFree

I have been on the fence about buying a 950 Rift for a while. After reading this thread, I decided to buy the knife from KSV as a way to say thanks for the good work you are doing. Sincerely, your generosity is amazing. Couple that with a knowledgeable staff that provides great customer service, and it is no wonder that you are considered one of the best dealers on the internet. Cheers to you for doing a great job! I look forward to giving you (and kershawguy.com, who is also awesome) much of my business for many years to come.

My tracking shows it departed Portland on the 19th, scheduled delivery was the 20th. I hope you didn't take my comments as cross. That wasn't my intention. I'm happy to be included at all.

Nope, just wanted to make sure you knew. :)

Thank you very much. We deeply appreciate everyone's support of the program and of us!

Apparently the postal service has problems with logistics. It seems it takes three days for a package to get from Oregon to Kansas and an additional three days to get from Kansas to my home 3 1/2 hours away in Missouri.

I should have pictures Monday night.

You guys are awesome, and my kids and I are very grateful!!

Thanks again for your generosity, you guys ROCK!!

Great program Derrick.

I'd love to hear if any parents responded positively to your balloon video, or even better, if some concerned parents' minds were changed.

My son is using his knife for everything around here. He had to be the one to open the bacon and hash brown packages for breakfast this morning. He opens the packages that come in the mail. He opened the bag of corn we took out to the deer today. He cut off the tags from my wife's new shirt.

Bad thing is that now I can't use my knives for these things.......

Great program and videos!

My boy got his 285 Buck Bantam today along with a Klecker trigger knife to aid in training, he sure is a happy camper.

Will definitely check your website in the future when shopping for knives for me or my family.

Thanks!

I just want to thank you for this program Derrick! You've made my daughter very happy and I am thrilled with her response!

I will definitely be making my next purchase with you. In fact, I'm considering picking up the ZT 0562 after payday instead of waiting for the Cf version since you've got them in stock right now. You will always be the site I check first for my knife purchases.

Thanks again and keep up the great work!

He spent most of the evening learning to sharpen a stick. Destiny, the other recipient of your generosity in our house, is still just 2, but I'm sure in a few years she'll be very grateful as well.

We had great response to the video from parents....but My suspicion is that there is no way it changed anyone's mind!

I'm surprised you were able to keep a straight face through the video. I started cracking up when you pulled out the balloon, and even more so as you were playing peek-a-boo with the camera using it.

I wonder if those "concerned parents" realize that their very response is precisely the reason why efforts like your Knives for Kids program is so valuable.

Picked up my Sebenza from your store a while back, glad that's where I spent my money. This is an awesome campaign in today's world.

It is nice to see these pics of the kids with their new knives. I was surprised when I read that Derrick ordered an additional 3000 knives to fill all the requests after the first 1000 were claimed!! Buck must really be appreciating the business and publicity. A lot of adults don't have a good USA made knife so Derrick is starting them off right!!:thumbup::thumbup:

When my nephew gets a little older I may buy him one of these Buck Bantams as his first 'user' (bought him a Case xx Mini Trapper for his first B-day). If I'd got one for him now I would've felt like I was taking it from a kid that could be using it. I'm sure a lot of people think of knives as a 'guy thing', so it is nice to see some young ladies with their very own knife.:)

:mad:Don't you know uninflated balloons pose a potential suffocation/choking hazard? Shame on you!:p

Thanks again for the Knives for Kids program!!!!
