We just received the knife you sent to my son. He is very excited and it really is a great touch to have his name on the blade.
I understand that this generous act has caused you a lot of headaches due to greedy trolls trying to take advantage. I am sorry that it had to go down like that. I hope you are cheered up a bit by the picture of my son and his new knife.

I am telling you... I was so discouraged after I found out people were ordering these to resell, I was seriously depressed and seething with anger. Not healthy.
But the last two days, I have received HUNDREDS of these photos and it makes me super happy!

Very nice - my son is only 17 months old so we still have a few things to work on first. However, I will look your way when the time comes for his first knife.
Pretty irresponsible to be popping balloons like that without proper hearing protection, don't you think?

Talk about timing, I was just thinking about getting my 6-yr-old her first knife and looking at the Bucklites vs Opinels. I am now signed up just in case, and my appreciation for the program :thumbup:

I took you up on your program and ordered one for my youngest son. He's 6, very responsible, and had asked for his own knife. I have another son, but decided not to get him one through your program because one knife at your expense seemed like more than enough.
I wondered how you'd deal with the dishonest and figured they'd come out of the woodwork. I'm sorry to hear I was correct.
You're extremely generous, and I know this knife will mean a great deal to my little man. I will be sure to send you a pic. Right now, he asks for my knife for every reason he can think of. This evening, he "needed" my Becker BK14 to slice through the iron-like bag of M&Ms he had after school.
He can't wait to use his own knife. Thanks for doing this.

Love what you are doing. Thankfully I don't have kids yet but when the time comes I will look your way and I will definitely be ordering for myself from you. It's really to bad that people took advantage of this great program for there own personal benefit.

Thanks for pointing this out. I was lucky enough to have one shipped for my son, it is currently somewhere in the postal vortex but, on it's way. Happy to help get this back on the road.
There were some that we printed postage, but have not been able to ship because we ran out of knives. We have 3000 more coming in about 10 days.
My tracking shows it departed Portland on the 19th, scheduled delivery was the 20th. I hope you didn't take my comments as cross. That wasn't my intention. I'm happy to be included at all. :thumbup:
