... "when you can drive a Kahr."
Ha! I always thought that old ad was cheesy! Actually, I'm not so excited about Kahr, due to a couple design quirks and the controversy surrounding the owner. I got tired of waiting on the Block 43 to be released and broke down and handed my cash over for the Kahr. 8 years later, I'm still driving it. Well vetted, hundreds of rounds, several mags. Only one hiccup, a failure to return to battery, and that was during the "break in period" with reloaded ammo. Excellent size and weight, handles well, shoots well. I really can't complain, but I won't recommend one.

It's loud.

It's heavy.

It's politically incorrect.

Everyone will HATE you at the range.

Everyone within a mile of you will HATE you.

At night, you and everyone within 100 yards will be blind.

It'll start forest fires.

It'll burn your target, even if you miss.

It has all the subtlety of dropping a piano out of a 10th floor window.

Allow me to recommend a suppressed 5.56 or .300 BO...
Well as an owner of several SOCOM 16's.... I can say that when I fire them at the hog's here in Texas, they don't seem to be bothered. They don't complain and they don't run away!

I imagine they don't. 👍

I'm in Texas myself. (*South Texas...San Antone area) I will say that a SOCOM, kitted with an Aimpoint PRO, is (*for me) just about the PERFECT truck gun for this area.

What part of Tejas are you in, if you don't mind my asking?

Bloodloss Bloodloss  The only thing with Kahr’s is-they are picky what kind of ammo you’ll feed them…
Once you get this issue out of the way (as you obviously did), they are decent guns for their intended purposes.
I’m glad you don’t have issues with yours
