I love this picture. It takes me back to my grandfather's home office. His walls were covered with similar maps. His retired pocket watch hung under glass on a bookshelf. He had a tin cup with mechanical pencils like these. He always had a similar knife in his pocket, and a handful of spares in the top drawer of his desk. All you need now is a monogrammed martini shaker and a desk lighter.

I posted in gadgets & gear, but due to a FedEx screw up, I ended up with 2k rounds of 9mm instead of 1k, with only paying for 1k. More details in g&g what changes got on order.

I was at a gun store for their tent sale Sunday. Some rail covers, Lancer mag, and what I thought was .38 special and .357mag. However, idiot behind sold me .357Sig. Didn't realize until I got home, ammo sales are final.

Anyone in Chicagoland I'll sell it (.357 Sig) for cheap face to face. It's Federal HST.

It's a Sig MK-25. When the rest of the military adopted the Beretta's back in 1986, (I think), SEALS went with the Sig instead. It's basically just a P226 with phosphate coated internals & a chrome lined barrel.

There are some really nice combos in this thread. I am not a passible photographer, but I will participate:

The Defender and the Benchmark are my daily carry. I went from a full-sized 1911A1 to the compact in deference to my age, and fewer number of surviving enemies. I strap on the Remington Rand ('42) and the Cammillus when I feel like breaking bad old school.
