Photos Knives & Guns

Since it's knives and guns, having a little party.

I don't remember packing this many knives for the trip. Plus three more in boxes I was thinking of trading/selling. Two of these are new.

Holy crap I just found two more in my suitcase, Sharkboy and Yojimbo 2!

Did you pack the "box" for the black over FDE one? How do you like the laser?
Thanks

It was in the holster IWB 4 o'clock. I keep the Astra in my medicine bag just for grins. .22 short isn't exactly a man stopper but it's something. Maybe if I get attacked by gangbanger chipmunks.

Oh I was on amtrak. I hate flying, and avoid it if I can. 5 hour train ride.

You have to somewhat consciously activate the laser. However, in a high stress situation, you're going to be gripping the gun so tight it will come on without thinking about it. Even so, I wish it had a red dot. However, the weight of the laser combined with the ported barrel and tungsten guide rod make it shoot very flat.

I know I’ve already said it but I love that ^ little Astra Cub!

Used to have a Colt 1908 before getting my hands on the Astra 200, and I have to say I find the 200/300/600 models super fun to collect and shoot. Colt autos were already a bit pricey for me by the time I started. I don’t regret moving toward Astra. I’ve been really wanting a Star FM for a few years now. I tend to shoot .22lr more than anything else these days.

However, the backpack will be lighter on the way back. Because I was getting in so late, I decided to bring water with me in the pack. 3 1.5L bottles of water, that's 10lbs right there. Then 2 28oz bottles of Gatorade in case my blood sugar gets low.

I'll probably bring one bottle of water and one Gatorade on the way back.

Man my back/knees hurt just reading this!

It has become one of my EDC items now, along with my knife and my light.
They’re no joke…flames shooting out the barrel and all…lol We loosely tested the rounds yrs ago and they went right thru versions of the metro Atlanta/surrounding area phonebook 😳
