Same here. Fantastic hobbies. Maybe one day I'll be good enough to justify a Kolar or something similar. The craftsmanship is incredible to see.

Very nice, large and small of each.

I started out with a 682 Gold and 687EELL, sold them both for the Kolar. I regret selling the EELL, it was a work of art.

Living within an hour drive of Kolar's facility enabled picking out a specific piece of wood and custom fitting the stock for specific palm swell, stock thickness, and adjustable comb. Also specified a 3 barrel set including a ported 12ga, 12ga carrier barrel with sub-gauge tubes, and under single trap barrel.

You are the first person I've seen toting one of these bad boys. So is it worth it to save a few bucks over say, a nice p320 or god forbid even a glock? I've never shot one but they caught my eye.

Quote didn't work. Was meant for the guy with the Arex

Smith & Wesson Model 645 and a Buck "General" 120.

It was in the holster IWB 4 o'clock. I keep the Astra in my medicine bag just for grins. .22 short isn't exactly a man stopper but it's something. Maybe if I get attacked by gangbanger chipmunks.

Oh I was on amtrak. I hate flying, and avoid it if I can. 5 hour train ride.

You have to somewhat consciously activate the laser. However, in a high stress situation, you're going to be gripping the gun so tight it will come on without thinking about it. Even so, I wish it had a red dot. However, the weight of the laser combined with the ported barrel and tungsten guide rod make it shoot very flat.
I understand what your are saying about the high stress situation.
