Not my gun (I was sharing the lane with a buddy), but I know he said it's a Canik Rival. I don't know any more specifics, but I would assume that K.O.D. K.O.D. knows more than me about this gun and that his more informative answer is correct.

The Rival came out early 2022. 5" barrel 9mm geared for competition, where the 5.2" barrel of the SFX was too long for certain competitions. Optics ready, dark side model comes with 5 optics plates, the regular Rival comes with 4. They just released at Shot Show a metal frame version. Made in Turkey, based on the Walther P99 platform.
 
Charging handle came Saturday but I was too sick to install it. Just finished today, and this new one from Manticore is much nicer and feels sturdier than the Gear Works one they had been on it (bought the gun slightly used).

New trigger is amazing. Now I just gotta remount the red dot.

I'm too old for jumping through hoops. So, Friday I get to pick them up. UGH. GD Government. Who would have thought carrying a gun, concealed, with permit, in a park was a federal offense. Thankfully my LGS is cool and is not going to charge me the transfer fee. That would be straight up retarded.

Wooden Wednesday. New Hogue grips. I was hoping that like the picture they would be gun length, but alas they are longer. Hell of an upgrade from the old Pachmayr rubber ones, and more comfortable to CC. The wood color goes well with my skin tone, and the grip is a little shorter than the rubber one, so I think I'll keep.

After the "event" I thought that maybe I should have pulled the race card. But then I thought, well that might not work in Missouri, especially with a Norwegian last name lol. And the hispanic race card doesn't seem to work as well...
