IIRC circa 1986. Close to 37 years ago. This particular specimen is dead-on with target-sights at 7 yards.

Those are the Hogue 'Piranha' texture grips. I really like them. Very gripping, without being too abrasive.

VZ doesn't make grips for Sigs yet, Hogue does as well as Grey Guns (made by Hogue)

They used to, in fact they done it before Hogue but they drop it for some reason, I guess...
Right now looks like they only have grips for the Sig's copy of the Colt Mustang, I'm not very familiar with the number...
I know well Gray Guns but didn't know Hogue makes grips for them. Actually I went to Hogue's site and all of the 226X5 SAO grips I found had magwell,
something I didn't see on Hammer67 's gun. Either way, I'll probably get the Hogue grips and if I don't like the magwell, I'll just grind it down,
I like to have clear access to the mag's baseplate lip, sticking out on the bottom of the front strap..
