Yuck I hate fall. High of 53° today. It was 84° last Sunday.

I must have an autumn-immune disease. I hate cold, the transition from hot to cold is killer on my joints.

I was down in Galveston in July. 102° at the outdoor shooting range for three hours. Get back to the car it's my own personal steam room.

But I love it. It's weird to go from shorts and a polo to jeans and a flannel in 3 days time.

Definitely looks like a 2A RBC... I'm interested in hearing how he likes it too. Brownells has a decent deal on them right now.

It is a 2A Armament Lightweight BCG but it isn't the regulated model. I run a SLR gas block to do. It works really well, but with an adjustable gas block you don't really notice the weight difference.

The Alien is a really fun gun to shoot; and the small Blackside Customs/Strider SLCC carries well on the belt because of the short handle.

Nice kit... don't forget tourniquets and maybe a wound stapler? I used to love those 375 packs of Mini-Mags (choot em) and the AR Tactical's... 12 boxes into a .50 cal can fit perfectly for 4,500 rounds per can for the stash. The slider 100's are real nice to take to the range sometimes but you can only get 24-26 into a can.
