I love seeing thiccc mags and thiccc Checkmate parkerization on 7.62 mags. Short barrel M1A's are cool "little" tanks.

I have blasphemed. I love my Zastava AK but the stock has always been an issue. I have very long arms. Mine had the steel triangle non folding stock because it was on sale for $300 less than a wood one. With my long arms and 6'4" frame, it was difficult to get a good sight picture, not to mention no cheek weld and the length of pull was very short. I added a cheap rubber recoil pad to help with length of pull, and while it helped, it doesn't stay on. So I bought a matching wood stock, and with the pad it is perfect. But the pad falls off constantly. After much searching for a different pad option, I broke down an adjustable (and folding) stock.

Putting black plastic will ruin the look, so down the road I'll replace the rest of the furniture with modern tacticool stuff.

That is what I thought.
Thanks
I believe when they discontinued the original BT, at the time, they went to Ranger T, essentially same round,
without the black coating and chrome lined case. I could be mistaking but the old BT bullet is very similar to the newer Win - the PDX1.
I think they don't make these anymore either, instead most of their good lines are Bonded these days.

I think these were discontinued early 2000's. In the mid 90's, I had a delear in South Texas that sold me a bunch of 9's and a box of 40's. That was when law enforcement went to 40's. I bought a box of 44mags at a rather steep price.
