The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
It is a Kwaiken from Tim Rowland of Rowland Cutlery. Over 1/4” thick blade stock, convex ground and stupidly sharp. The faceted grip is made of big oak, acacia and some G10 liners and accents. The blade is polished close to a mirror finish, and there is a visible hamon line also. I follow Tim’s work mostly for his kitchen knives, but his EDC fixed blades are very nice too.

Wow, very nice! I found his stuff for sale at Olde Towne - he makes some fancy kitchen knives for sure. Your Kwaiken has great angles. Nice 98 too!
Nothing wrong with that. People buy what they can afford and like what they like. I got a negative comment here about my Sightmark red dot on my AR. I knew nothing about red dots when I bought it, and the local range/store recommended it for entry level. I've had it 3 years, and on my AR nearly 2, and it's never lost zero and has excellent battery life. It's a range toy, I don't need an Eotech or Aimpoint.I know I will catch hell for this one, but I love this gun!!!! The weight kind of controls the recoil.View attachment 2465488

Looks like your Tavor is more suitable for HD than your AK because of the size, balance and RD.but I'd rather hit a home invader with 7.62x39 than 9mm or .40. God forbid I have to use a .38.
I bought the Tavor for HD, but in the event I were to use it for a home defense situation, the cops would confiscate it. It's easier to swallow losing a $1000 AK than a $3500 modified Tavor SAR.Looks like your Tavor is more suitable for HD than your AK because of the size, balance and RD.
Unless you're running premium ammo like hollow point Hornady, and shorter AK version.
Also, in the distance you'd be shooting at home, .38 will do just fine, especially if you got the Underwoods as you mentioned earlier, revolver is much quicker to use,
IMO faster response would be my priority, before I think what I'm hitting my attacker with, but I could be mistaking, of course...
I meant to also mention that this was my grandfather's. 1958 S&W Model 36. It had crappy decaying rubber grips, these are much nicer.
Thanks! Unfortunately it is getting harder and harder to find good S&W revolvers at good prices, so my collection hasn’t changed in quite a while.I would LOVE to see your revolver collection!
That 681 takes me back to an LE firing line, circa 1992.![]()
.25acp? That's the original gun Bond carried I believe. Before he was given the PPK.

I did carry this one today. Fixed sights, 3” barrel, great trigger, 357 mag. Paired with a Milt Sparks IWB holster and it is easy to carry.
