Love it, love the knife too, thanks for posting it R. !

Something from last night, I was fiddling with my Hissatsu while watching a movie. 😎
Apologies for the Bourbon intrusion.

Anytime Jordan.
I have several Knives of Alaska blades. Great knives and great customer service.
I like the comp on the shield. Looks like a good evening. Makers is one of my favorites

New knives for me Rick, and they look very practical for the outside elements...
Strike Ind. Micro Comp. Shot it few times, I think it works. Love the Shield, especially with the Mag Guts converting it to 10 rounds with the single stack flat grip.
I made a video in slow mo so I can see how much is the muzzle rise, seems little bit lower with it. I'll send you a link if interested.

I'm waiting for you in FL Sir, we can shoot some MM over knives talk, whenever you make the trip !

Jordan, most if not all of my blades are practical. I do not have any knives. My wife bought me the three KoA knives I have. They are primarily geared to outdoor use.
Sounds like you have the shield set up very nice. Please send the link.
I will certainly let you know.

Here's my CAS rig:

The revolvers are Uberti '58 Remingtons with conversion cylinders. They originally had that butt-ugly Milennium finish, and the steel beneath was not final-finished. I just removed the finish and let them age naturally. The gunbelt was custom-made for me. It has 51 45-caliber cartridge loops. Copying John Wayne I kept a dummy .45-70 round in the middle loop. This provided an easily-felt distinction between the cartridges on the left side (200-grain bullets for the rifle) and those on the right side (180-grain bullets for the pistolas).

The knife is a rifleman's knife with Osage Orange grip slabs. The sheath looks like it was made for the knife, but was a separate acquisition from someone on the opposite coast. Go figure.

Nice set. I like the Condor Bushlore, thanks for sharing. How is the Ruger with the .30 Carbine? I've heard that it's "exciting " to shoot through a pistol. I have a Ruger Blackhawk with 2 cylinders: 45Colt and 45ACP.

The .30 carbine round is quite similar to the .357. It does have a different sound, though; something I cannot really describe.

The M-1 carbine is an early-1945 Winchester; only the barrel isn't original. The revolver is a Blackhawk in .30 carbine, and the knife is a Condor Bushlore with both handle and blade darkened.
Awesome rifle and revolver. I keep hoping to stumble across one of those .30 carbine Blackhawks some day. Love the M-1 carbine too.

I have a 1944 Underwood M1 carbine. Fun gun. It's been about a year since I have shot mine. I can only carry so many guns to the range so it usually gets left at home.

RLB0414 RLB0414 , yeah, it shoots fine, comp is OK i think, I got DPM for RSA (replaced tungsten 15lb guiderod,, my old Ghost Connector, new extractor, firing pin, all the OEM internals,
small tolerance slide lock, proven IME to give you little bit better accuracy setup. Front sight is with larger white outline over the tritium and its placed further out, over the Agency Comp.
I have to install also a flat trigger with bar that I have but still needs some polishing and fiddling...
It still a project, my goal was to make it fun 20 yards 9mm gun but to spend effectively less money and put together something reliable as close to the OEM G22/17
It's a 40-9 conversion aftermarket slide (very good one BTW) with old Wolf, threaded conversion barrel, I shot most parts for years and never had issues.
I'll get some range pix when I'm done, hopefully soon.

It is my "if-I-can-only-have-one" rifle. It is extremely effective out to any distance I am likely to shoot. And, because it is early-1945-manufacture, it is just over a year older than I am!!! 😉

The Plaster book is such a good read.
Agreed. SOG is very interesting story, I actually got a Seal knife, carried on missions. Love the book.
Besides this one, I love my Glock books. There are lots of interesting facts about how he started and how he was introduced in US market, to the PD's and civil market.
I' for myself initially wasn't huge Glock fan because of the limpwristing issue with polymer frames but when I started shooting it more,
I realized that other advantages, as the short reset, kind of leave the possible limp wristling in the back... It's a reliable gun, built like a Lego, at least till gen 4...
I got a nice collection of books about Glock, and for some other guns, I like to read when I have time...
I really enjoy watching the Glock setups here, shows shooter's priorities and preferences, there is a lot to learn just from the simple pictures,
besides the fact most of the knives posted with them are exceptional 🤩
