Had some company a few bays over when we were ringing the long range steel:
I've been impressed. Very flat shooting. Both of those rifles above had muzzle brakes so that helped a bunch with the recoil. My daughter used it to take her first pig recently. A ranged 320 yard shot on a big boar, estimated live weight around 230 and hanging weight at the butcher of 116 lbs. The shot entered the left shoulder transversed through the pig and exited the right hip. She was able to hold point of aim on the pig even at that distance. With the muzzle break the recoil was akin to the 6.5 or a .243 something of that nature, but much LOUDER! Doubt either of those would have been much fun without the muzzle brakes!Looks like a great way to spend some time.
What is your take on the 7mmWSM?
