Yeah, but generally, you can walk in a gun store with $500 down here and walk out with a Glock. Can’t do that with a Colt or Springfield, much less a DW, Baer, or Brown model.

But I love my Glocks! The gun market is saturated right now and nobody is buying. I had put up a few up for sale and either no interest or dumbass lowball offers. I’ll cut you a deal, but I’m not giving my stuff away.

I do like my 7600 (308). Light, accurate, simple to clean ... and for SD, the racking noise should help.

Once I found a few reliable magazines (not trivial), the only remaining issue I've had is that I've never felt comfortable attaching a sling. In the front, you have two choices: attach to the fore-end, which doesn't seem very robust (there is a gasket that likes to break), or to the barrel, which never felt right, as it's free floating. Enter a small company (GGG) making a QD receiver attachment for 870 20ga shotguns, which are compatible. The QD mount uses a bolt replacing one of the two pins holding the trigger in the receiver.

I love little ingenious things like that

PPS: Crazy when you see what these guns go for on the used market, currently. Even a 4-round magazine runs ~$70 right now !
