Photos Knives & Guns

No debate on Condition 1. Always for me now, see my photos.

Was just wondering on the additional round in the chamber, because it's a bit of a PITA to get it in there (magazine in, magazine out and top-off, and in again ....).

Regarding Israeli carry in Condition 3, I read that and told myself that they also carry a rifle ...

Interestingly enough, Longmire carries Condition 2. Hollywood .... :)

Worth remembering to shoot the chambered round every time you have a range session with any handgun chambering the same round. Repeated chambering can cause bullet setback turning a pistol into a grenade.

I picked up a piece of Butterfade G-carta and sent it out for a set of custom grips to match the butterscotch accents on the SDKnives mini Reign. I love it when a plan comes together...😁

Gorgeous grips, and a gorgeous EB.

I keep telling myself I'm done buying high-end 1911s, and then a week later I'm thinking, "I want another EB, and then I'm done..." 🤣

The addiction is real! 😁

Not sure if you're already over there, but if not, you gotta check out 1911addicts.com. Tons of knowledgeable folks, some of the most amazing 1911's ever built, and a classified section that'll have you in divorce court before you know it! Lol!

Yup, I'm familiar.

I'm also considering joining www.recovering1911addicts.com, but apparently I need a sponsor.

Those 1911's (EB) are too rich for my blood. A friend of mine has an $8k Cabot, what a gun.

I have a Kimber Rapide I bought slightly used for an amazing price. One day I'll buy a 2011.

Im selling some stuff off so I can get a pistol with a threaded barrel and buy a suppressor.

I sold my barely used Remington 887 nitro mag on Friday and picked a 1000 round case of 5.56. Took the Tavor and AR to the range yesterday. It was super windy but I still did pretty well.

While that AR is nice, eventually I'm going to put a new trigger in it. The Geisselle setup on my Tavor blows it away.

My first 1911 was a Kimber Custom II and it was a great pistol. It was very accurate, reliable, and I shot the sh*t out of it. Still going strong in one of my buddy's stable.

Staccato's are a bit pricey, but worth it if you're looking get "two birds stoned at once"...😁

If I could post pics, I'd show off real knife guns. My M-7s, M9s, OKC 3S, and my two Kronos Bayonets on the ARs. As for M7s I like the M7B with the Krayton Handle the best.

My only real world experience with a bayonet was when I was playing... TACTI-TRAINING with my OKC 3S, my first bayonet with my first bayonet lugged upper. To see how TACTI-EFFECTIVE it was to have a bayonet when woods walking. I had a feral domestic critter come at me from out of the old farmstead barn coming from my literal Rear Asspect, it was in attack mode for some reason, I turned in time to stop it from getting in biting distance by using the OKC 3S. Being an untrained Civie I had a paralyzed situational awarness hit me as I had two diciplines trying to get me to act. Well thanks to a VERY PAITENT former military arms instructor who made it his mission to correct my very bad pistol discpline at a range one day. I snapped back to his situational awareness lessons, realized what was attached to to the OKC 3S and used it as the OKC 3S was still attached to the critter and the AR. Well after that I learned that I learned that a fixed bayonet isn't very TACTI-EFFECTIVE when woods walking.

The other Discipline was Staff/Spear/POINTY STICK stuff I picked up. I was caught between to hardwired responses at the time. When I go in to the wilderhood I always make a staff/Pokey Stick. It comes in more handy than you can imagine.
