I love DA/SA and miss it in the current market. It was "just right" for carry. The revolver-like double action was its own safety. It worked from rest without stored energy and offered double-strike capabilities if needed. Then it transitions to a nice single action which, in many guns, is noticeably better than any of the regular striker triggers.

There is another benefit to the hammer-fired DA/SA guns. Thumbing the trigger while holstering provides positive feedback for the DA trigger. That may be especially valuable with appendix carry gaining in popularity, even if it is just the emotional comfort of extra safety with the muzzle direction so near to the sausage and meatballs.
