Knives in movies

I don’t recall many from movies, but I have seen some in TV shows.

Detective Kimura uses what appears to be a blunted Delica in The Wire to scrape evidence off a drain. I forget which season or episode.

The first episode of Daredevil has a fight that involves a Benchmade Contego.

The fourth episode of The Blacklist has a brief scene involving a Spyderco Volpe.

Kill Bill Vol. 1: SOG Desert Dagger, Buck 112.

Stir of Echoes: IIRC, a Benchmade Spike.

Do not forget the one Pierce Brosnan used in Seraphim Falls or the one that I loved from Flight of the Intruder or the one from Last of the Dog Men. Someone mentioned Anthony Hopkins, he was in a survival film with Alex Baldwin (what is the name?) where he used a lock back hunter after their plane crashed in Alaska.

And who can forget all the early Tarzan films which got me hooked on knives as a young boy.

Almost forgot, the one used by Robert Redford in Jeremiah Johnson. And the ones in Revenant. And there was a lockback used by Clint in my favorite western the Outlaw Joseph Wales.

I just saw "Annihilation". And I'm fairly certain a SOG pentagon was used in it. From the blade shape it looked like a pre-2006 Seki made model.

.
Last of the Dog Men was/is an excellent movie.

Said knife is a Patton.

The movie with Hopkins & Baldwin is - appropriately - called 'The Edge.'

The Edge

Full Contact (1992 Hong Kong action/crime drama, starring Chow Yun-Fat). Chow's character uses a butterfly knife/balisong a couple times.
The villain, played by Simon Yam, uses a Cold Steel tanto (or a close knockoff).

The Fan (1996), with Robert DiNiro as a knife salesman, and Wesley Snipes, features a Cold Steel tanto, and Gerber E-Z Out and E-Z Out Jr.

Almost forgot...
Tokyo Rampage (1998), about a psychopathic loner who targets Yakuza gangsters, has a heavy knife content. One Yakuza has what I think is an old Kershaw model called G-10/ATS-34 (1415). And the psycho protagonist carries a variety of folders; Kershaw, Spyderco, etc. At one point he carries a whole bag full of one-hand opening folders.

I remember in the original X-Files, Agent Mulder used a Kershaw Liner Action in a couple of episodes while collecting evidence.

In Law and Order: SVU, Detective Stabler used a Delica 3 SE in a few episodes.

I remember that one.

In a great shot, he dropkicks one of two guys out a window at the scene with the plethora of knives.

Thats is one heck of a showdown, where he throws knives at his opponent.
