Knives in your vehicle??

GAK in the glove box and a Mora in the boot.

I've always got an EDC as well.

I'd like to add an axe but that would be a problem with the laws over here.:(

Axe a problem with the law??!! i've had a hatchet in the old work car for years. would'nt axe, hatchet, be "tools"? i'm in ga.

I always carry numerous knives in the truck.Right now , three fillet knives , a large and small fixed blade and a hatchet. All new ones because a year ago some scumbag stole them all.

I drive a Quad cab.

EDGED stuff list:

CountyComm Breacher bar between the seats.

SOG Paratool and CountyCommm Widgy in console

Ontario pilots survival knife behind passenger seat

Cold steel Spetsnaz with sharpened edges and Woodmans pal in bed of the truck.

OTHER items strewn about the cab and bed box.:

HD Jumper cables, portable jumpstarter with air compressor and power inverter, Surefire G2 with Cree drop in LED, spare batteries for surefire, AA's and AAA's, Inexpensive handheld GPS, K&M Match case, Lensatic compass, 550 cord, Duct tape, Tow rope, extra fleece jacket, about a dozen foot/hand warmers, mittens, half dozen bottles of water and a few power bars.

I could leave home for at least a week and be good to go with whats in my truck, clothes, gun, knives snacks and water. Only because I spend more time there than at home.

I keep a few of my old retired knives under the seat of the pick-up. They are in various stages of use and some sheaths are a bit green from moisture and time. I don't know how many are under there as the detritus of old junk tends to accumulate with time.

They are there if I ever need them, but the good ones are riding on my belt.

I keep a custom RD-4, a blue SAK Farmer, a Victorinox Rescue tool, and a Spyderco D4, that a friend customized for me. Those all live in the truck. Then there is whatever I have on me for EDC.

I keep my Scrapyard S6 with a Leatherman SuperTool in the Sheat Pocket in my Truck. I also have a Customized SOG Tomahawk. I keep a couple of wire coat hangers as well. I have a Surefire M4 with spare batteries and an old S&W Rescue Tool... Thats about it cept for the 100ft of Coiled Rope. All this fits under the lift up rear seats in my Dakota...

It has never occurred to me that there might be a problem with an axe. I'd be slightly uncomfortable if stopped and had to explain the Mora... I've driven round with an axe in plain view in the back of my hatchback.

The axe in Aussieland may be ok but the knives are now prohibited due to laws passed to stop young 'hoons'...

A knife carried upon your 'person' for lawful purposes may be ok...it all depends upon the police and their judgment.
