Knives of the Blade Show - 2009

Bill Wiggins, JS makes them strong and appealing:

Speaking of the venerable DH3, I had an opportunity to shoot Jon Brand's incredible folder also:

Warning! Warning! An overdose of Don Hanson's bowies can start an addiction:

simply beautiful:thumbup:
would love to have a folder like that

I'm really liking these straight razors that I have been seeing of late. Must take the plunge sometime soon.

Roger

Coop, you know I love my knives sometimes to be a bit out of the ordinary. So it will come as no surprise that I really really love that last Muller:cool::thumbup:
Yeah, that has your flavors in spades! :)

Wait till I get to Ray Rybar's dagger. I think you know the one.... ;)

Coop, I know the one but I haven't seen any photos of it yet, so I'm just as curious as the next man.:D;)

Marcel

Outstanding photos (and knives) as usual. Sorry I didn't get a chance to pop in and say "Hi" but I figured you probably had enough interruptions anyway.

Wow, these are beautiful. I like those razors alot. Damn you Coop, now after that trio I think I am addicted. :) I simply cannot afford this!!

;)

I've got ten Mastersmith shockers ready to post. I have to wait for approvals.

Off to do some exercising/rowing. I've stared at this screen all day.

Coop

Wow Coop!!! Awesome Pictures, thank you for sharing! I always enjoy looking at your pics!!!
Richard and Michelle

Thank you, Sir! I wasn't able to make it again this year but your pictures are fantastic, as usual, and it's almost as good as being there. ;)

Take care Jim and keep up the exceptional work my friend........

Coop

Thanks for your kind words and your "as usual" Great photos. Really appreciate the post.

Jody

OK, maybe I'm a little over the top and, truth be told, when you reach Mastersmith status, nothing should shock you. But let's see what I mean.

First off I want to congratulate Brion Tomberlin on two counts. Most importantly he achieved his own Mastersmith ranking with the following set of knives.

Important to me, was his willingness to allow me to shoot the series. Oddly, of the three years I have been at Blade this was the very first opportunity I had to shoot a set of ABS test knives. I gave it my best. (I have two other JS sets in store for you!)

Let's see his pinnacle knife in the set:

Russ Andrews with a suitable model:

Ken Durham worked to duplicate this famous bowie, commissioned by Mark Zalesky himself (If you have to ask...)

Henry Torres is a rock-solid stock in a Bull market. Here's why:

Can Jason Knight improve his stellar designs? Not so? Don't be so sure.

Tom Ferry concludes the electrical performance with a Koi-inspired, tanto fin-flipper folder:

And a suberb Bowie/fighter:

That's it till next time. Did they deliver, or what?!

Coop

That entire set is stunning. I saw Tom's terrific folder and fighter - just tremendous detail work. Jason's carbon steel fighter was actually my fave of his impressive table, as was Brion's stag bowie. And someone at the CKCA dinner got real lucky to be drawn on that ivory Andrews bowie. Great work all around.

I own the nice little damascus fighter on the left.:D:)

Thanks for showing these pictures Mr. Cooper.

Coop, I just want to say THANK YOU for your fantastic work and for posting the pictures. The pictures are great. The dagger picture I love, but you really nailed it with the set. Thank you again.
Brion
