We all know many celebrities are also knife lovers.

Like Kiefer Sutherland and Stalone and others.

This has always interested me in being a knife lover myself, and I am always curious to hear what people like to carry.

I thought I 'd start a thread where people can post a celebrity knife sighting or something that was used on a show or film as a resource to those interested in what's out there in the media.

See something on a show whether it be cooking, hunting, or a episode of 24, post it here.

I'll start with this.

I was watching American Choppers the other day when they were making a bike for the Make A Wish Foundation. Towards the end of the show I noticed a familiar pocket clip. I was hoping that I could get a better look when Paul Sr. pulled out the knife to open some presents for the kids.

I had always wondered what he'd carry since I was a big fan of the show. Nice to know we have similar tastes. It was a Kershaw Spec Bump just like mine.

Had to get it out rotate it in the EDC list again.:)

Mark Wahlberg in the film "Shooter". I asked in another thread what is that auto/semi auto knife?

Didn't they also do a bike for Case Knives that had knife blades in the rims?

Is Kiefer actually a knife guy? I just figured that was a 24 thing. Although it would make sense because they've stuck with the halo's from the start.

ooooo I didn't see that one .. gotta look it up.

Yes I read he is a knife lover and a big microtech fan . . although who really knows but it seems to make sence seeingh as how he ususally only uses Microtech and Benchmades.

Have not see Shooter yet, might have to wait until it comes out on DVD.

Joe Perry was seen on the Food Network on a thing with Rachel Ray where he uses a Darrel Ralph Custom to cut some steak. It's on the Darrel Ralph website, or you can click here

Deborah Harry of the musical group "Blondie" is a collector.

So is comedian Shelley Berman of "Boston Legal" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm". Last year one of the networks interviewed Shelley at his home and he was showing off some of his knives.

he said if he woulda known he woulda doubled the price lol.

Case has a line of knives for american choppers...one model has a bine handle with their logo burned into the bone...just like when they wear their hats and shirts they are advertising their own products, knives included...remember when they opened thigns with razor blades...well now that they have their own knives they use them in the show...Here is a link to them...

I think i found my favorite Spyderco wielding celeb. On the show Mythbusters, the one where they make the huge helium raft in the hanger, at the end Kary is shredding the balloons with what look to be a PS Delica. I like her even more now.

I don't how many of you watch NCIS, but I spot a knife I recognize about every other week in it. Notably, a Cold Steel Large Voyager SE and a Benchmade Nimravus, in separate episodes.

kary on mythbusters is cute but after watching the show a while i dont know if she's the sharpest knife in the drawer lol.

i guess what she's on the show for doesnt require ya to be phi beta kappa.

I just watched the movie Seraphim Falls with Pierce Bronsan and was curious who made the bowie knife he used in the film? Tried a search but couldn't find much.

Why does seeing a "celebrity" using a knife on a tv show or movie equate to the actual person being a collector? I hope everyone knows how to seperate fiction from fact....

:D

I have seen posted quite a few times, that Sutherland collects MTechs. Also I think either Ms. Jolie or one of he dealers has posted before when discussing her collection of Balis.

So I Know, and by that I mean I read it on the internet, that they are both collectors . :)
