Knives to have in a zombie invasion!

Actually I honestly think a zombie situation is more likely...

Maybe not in the form of zombies, but perhaps irrational or delerious masses of infected people that turn everything on it's ear.

LOL, I think it's fun to talk about "Never-Gonna Happen" scenarios.

It has happened. It's called a Democrat controlled government.... :p

Sorry, couldn't resist!

To Doug C, your Chris Moss creation is the most eloquent Bowie I have ever seen.
B.C.,
Thank you very much,
young Chris is getting married shortly and needed some dough for his honeymoon in Wales.
I don't do paypal on principle and Chris was kind enough to let me use a U.S.P.S. Money Order,
even though he had someone else expressing interest.
Voila!
Nicest hunk of DI I've seen.

Awesome zombie thread. :D

That's fantastic! One of the nicest looking bowies I've ever seen! Another maker to put on the list....

The handles look like they might be a tad slick when covered with blood and grey matter, tho.... ;)

We have an occasional zombie problem up here in Canada. Thanks to Fort Turner Forge I have a solution.I bet the original Rogers Rangers didn't screw around with zombies either...

Ooh, nice "toys" C.S.! I especially like the hatchet/axe. Been thinking since I posted, and decided that an Ontario Ranger RD Hawk, with spike, would be an excellent tool for zombie deanimation. I just wonder though, can you truly deanimate what is already deanimated?

Thanks ol' chap. Yeah, things like hawks and such with a war-hammer-like spike on one end would probably be quite effective. In fact, someone mentioned war-hammers on page two. They'd be ideal I think, but the days of the neighbourhood Ye Olde War-Hammer Shoppe are long since gone, so I guess for most of the survivor populace spikey hawks, axes, and framing hammers will have to do.

There's a couple of nice Fowler survival's on the custom FS forum with 10inches of 01 tool steel just waiting for some zombie brain matter. hint-hint

This is all I've got for zombies:

And a very stout hickory walking staff with a convertible spike tip.

Would love to pick-up a Busse AK-47, that Swamp Rat Waki, BRKT Golok or modded machete, and a spiked hawk at some point.

Someone once said to show them an autographed photo of Michael Jackson, and you can escape while they are all genuflecting... :D
