jmxcpter, i use www.clubphoto.com it allows you to store photos for about 90 days after the 90 days it will block you from gaining acces to that album or photos, if you already posted the photo somewhere it will stay where you posted it even though the album is blocked. hope that helped.

Hi Dr. Jones, again. Dont be envious, there is one sure way to feel a LOT better, get yourself a fine automatic watch and youll be surprised how quickly your envy turns into a knowing, smug smile. :)

You said that you would prefer to buy a watch retail through a jewelery store, i would STRONGLY suggest you do not do that, simply because there are very reputable internet watch stores which sell the EXACT same watches, absolutely brand new in the box, for as much as 50% less than youd pay in a retail store. The Breitling Chrono Avenger for example, lists for $2500, you can get it brand new from worldwatches.com for $1,000 less, and it is the SAME watch. Do the math, save $1,000 on 2 watches, thats $2,000 to buy yourself something awfully nice, whether it be a custom knife or 2, or another fine watch, hell, even 2 decent watches. I understand the experience of buying in a retail store is more glamerous, but DONT DO IT! By the way, when you go to worldwatches.com, check out the Baume and Mercier Capeland S Chronograph, IMO the BEST value out there in high-end watches, Rolex has nothing on it, (and yes, i have owned Rolex's), the quality, fit and finish on the B&M's is spectacular, an absolutely beautifully made watch, lists at $2600, i believe it sells there for $1500, and at that price the bargain of the century.

Megalobyte: Thanks for the input!!! Hahaha!:D Well said! Indeed, my pocketbook will not allow me the experience of buying a watch like that in a local store, at least not quite yet at 21. In a few years, DEFINITELY!!! :D I'm all for getting the best price possible. I have a wealthy relative, and just because he has money does NOT mean that he throws it away. He's just as much of a bargain hunter as anyone. Well, sorta...;) Anyway, hopefully soon...

Does anyone else own Vostok watches? THey are very good and affordable Russian watches. I heard they would cost about 700 dollars if made in Switzerland rather than Russia. They Cost forty bucks instead.

I have (and wear DAILY!) a Rolex Stainless Steel DATE, that I received as a gift 16 years ago from my father.
He asked if I wanted gold (his business had done well that year I guess), but was right in giving me steel. .
I wore through many jobs, and it has a few "character" marks... but a watch isn't worth much IMHO if you can't wear it.

But they are nothing compared to Swiss and even Japanese watches.

Russian watches are indeed good watches, but quality is a crapshoot. The goal is quantity hence, they have very little quality control. Most watches will work fine, but the range in performance will differ dramatically from one watch to the next and on frequent occasion, you will get a lemon. Luckily, most reputable dealers will send you a different watch if yours is defective. (in defense of the russian watch industry, I have once encountered an Omega Seamaster chronograph which failed to perform correctly right out of the box). The funny thing is, I have never, ever encountered a defective Japanese watch. (worn, abused and broken, yes, but never defective out of the box or with light duty.

If you need a budget mechanical watch, you can't go wrong with a Seiko Diver's watch which you can pick up at a discount dealer for approximately 150 bucks. If that's too much for you, then perhaps an Invicta for about 100.

Hi Steven, as i write this, my EZM3 is on my wrist, with the plain, waterproof, leather strap, i dont like the look of the steel bracelet. So, i guess we're "EZM3 buddies", divided by a big ocean. :D I would say that to match the EZM3, or EZM1 for that matter with a knife, it would have to be a MT HALO or UT6, to match the EZM watches with a gun is easy, HK MP5. For those of you unfamiliar with the Sinn EZM line, let's put it this way, the best Luminox watch looks and feels like a flimsy toy compared to an EZM series, if you are attracted to Luminox, or Military, so called "professional instrument" watches, you owe it to yourself to research Sinn's EZM line of the net. You'll thank me. ---Ari

My carry (duty and everyday) gun, my favorite watch, and my new knife.

Frank, i would give my left arm for that HK ;) ok maybe just my left pinky :D

I have a theory that everyone is genetically designed so that their non-dominant pinky finger fits right in the nostril. That may not be true of the dominant hand pinky which will be a little bigger... You may have a HK, but let's see you pick your nose with that thing...

Here is the combo I had when I was a kid! No kidding!

A Hot Wheels Racer watch and an old Sancoussi knife!

Both still work!
