I knew those Bokers would go up but my kids didn't even want one ... I wouldn't kick yourself too hard on that. Relatively unimpressive steel and I think most were autos which I wouldn't give to a kid.
There are Victorinox Swiss army with same sort of design that are not expensive and better for a kid to carry. $15 on Amazon.
