For some reason I really do not like tanto style blades, something about them bugs me. Other than that, I buy what I like regardless of almost anything.
Because Busse uses that INFI steel which is better than all the other steels melted together into one big super steel it still wouldn't be as good as INFI.
In my Role Playing Game Friday night gaming group nobody knows why my 17th level Fighter/Cleric can chop Concrete Dragons in half with one blow but that's because they don't know my Fighter/Cleric uses INFI swords! Dorks.
Plus, chainsaws and pry bars are illegal where I live so a Busse means you can still chop down old growth cedar trees and pry open frozen outhouse doors in January.
I wouldn't own any knife that Al Gore or Rosie O'Donnell would own, which means SAKs and ones with really long blades.
I just read through nine pages and not one single post knocking Bark River Knives. I have been thinking about getting one and I think it is going to happen now. Let me know if anyone doesn't like Bark River.
The only thing I don't like about Bark River is I don't own one yet, fixing to order 1 or 2 this weekend plus waiting for my choice of handle to be put on a Snowy River. Got a Mini- Axe, just looking for something to chop though!
"For the relatively small thin blades on most Benchmade models the handles are WAY too thick comparatively. Striders have MUCH stronger, thicker blades with commensurately thicker handles. You can do things with a Strider folder that would leave a Benchmade in several pieces."
