I've purchased several knives, including a special order Bark River and some sharpening stuff from them. They are first rate. If they say it's in stock, it's in stock. And they ship very fast.
I just sent them an email this morning asking for some specific measurements on a custom-handled F1; got a response within minutes!

I've only bought from them once. I ordered one of the KSF Bark River machetes and specifically asked them to inspect the knife for defects before shipping. When I received it, it looked like it had been dropped on the tip- the tip was rolled to the point where I can use it to snag something. In other words, I have a hook instead of a point. I thought I'd try fixing it myself, but I'll be sending it in to Bark river to get it fixed.

MVF--We have had some problems with the machetes being dropped during shipment and they can get the tip damaged like that. I think it happens because of the weight...but it could be the gorillas handling the packages.
Anyway, contact Trish at ksfsales at gmail dot com and we'll reimburse your shipping to Bark River via a store credit.
