Knock-Off, Counterfeit, Fake Bucks & The Americans Who Sell Them

I gave the guy a shot in being an honest man. He ruined his name and name of the auction house.

Asked for more pics nope .

Tryed to reason with and send message asking if I could return the items for a refund or even partial.
No reply

I just spoke with the bank and they reversed the transaction within a couple hours.

Guy never said a word. ..

"Buck" is now offering the Alpha Guide 663 in DC53 steel with the famous Paul Bos heat treatment. They removed the Buck label from all of the photos, but the Buck name is on the blade in the videos they provide.

The seller "mrbillshop" has several dozen fake Buck knives listed on eBay. Here is a link to one of them 227038133885. Many of his listings don't even copy actual Buck knives. I don't know if Buck is actively going after eBay listings but I reported him to counterfeit@buckknives.com.
He has been selling several fake models over the past few weeks. I reported his "Buck" dive knife yesterday. I am sure the ebay robot will say they checked into it and that it is fine.

I guess I was wrong about this knife. eBay let me know that "We looked into your report and didn’t find the listing to be in violation of our policy. This determination was made by a customer service agent." Everyone can now rest assured that this fake knife from China is a real Buck. By the way, this guy is selling 12 different fake Buck models.

If there are enough fakes from other brands, perhaps a class action is due. That may help them to take it a bit more seriously.

Ebay is not going to let morals get in the way of making money. Once I saw an auction for an item for which the only way for the seller to obtain it was through fraud. I notified ebay and they gave me their boilerplate answer and let it be sold.

This is not a counterfiet, but another vintage Buck copycat that I had never seen before.

An obvious rip-off of the 619, made by Tramontina in Brazil.
