Every time I try to carry a large trapper I find I just don't like them. And yet I keep buying them. So I'm going to force myself this month to carry it each day until I make a final decision on the pattern.
That’s a Beauty! I’ll be looking forward to seeing how this turns out for you. LanceGoing to make this month a multi layered experience:

Nice knife too!
Edit:hmmm..... fried plantain sushi is a thing. That's different. Guess I'm going to have to try that. Plantains aren't all that common here but it shouldn't be that hard to find some.
Nice. Always happy to give something new a shot.In Miami, Plantains are one of the staple foods, but mostly only abuelitas (little grandmothers) make them from scratch. Most everybody I know buys the frozen ones from Goya and calls it good - allow me to reiterate, defrosting Goya's Sweet Plantains is very traditional - definitely not considered cheating, at least not in the circles I run in. By the way, I'm referring to "platanos maduros" (sweet) as what is being used in the sushi, as opposed to "tostones" (savory) - although, there's certainly no reason those couldn't be used as well for a different kind of experience.
