Kukri / Khukuri question

Good to hear they're holding up. A 16" at 24 oz would be sweet. The weight would be easy to handle but the design would put it out front for momentum.

This is a copy I made of a 19th century khuk-15", 11 ounces. That's a seasoned ash log:


It doesn't split well at all but I've forgotten I was carrying it before.
