KW CF/M4 Para2 Exclusive

Wife found out I bought this and told me I have to sell it. Plus M4 just isn't for me and I didn't want to be selfish just in case someone else didn't get one today. They haven't even shipped yet so I'm letting this go at the low price of $800


This is obviously a joke but wait till you hear the excused people will make up as soon as it sells out.

A vet just came by to look at my yak. He hasn't eaten a thing in 3 days and it turns out he has a cavity, soooooo...mine needs to go for the vet bill. If Joe is selling his for $800, I will cut you a special rate of $799. No pics but you can imagine what it looks like. If I have to take a pic later, there WILL be bare feet in it!!! :D
 
Picked one up at 6:23am PST. Tried the web at 6:00am....server crash. Tried landline, kept hitting redial finally got through. Was in the first hundred or so placed orders. Will be a part of the first batch mailed out. So I was told. Cool. Looking forward to seeing this knife. Tight budget after receiving the BHQ Jade M4, and this too. This is one expensive addiction. ;)
 
I snagged one.I feel it's about $100 overpriced.Been collecting and using Para' s for quite some time.I must be getting old.
 
I can't lie, I got 2. Well, I got one and my wife got one(for me). One to collect and one to play with.

I think this is a good guess. I don't know the difficulty of machining M4 vs. S110V but I would think M4 wouldn't cost any more to make except for a little penalty because it isn't a full production item. But then they have made almost 4,000 of them so there shouldn't be too much penalty for limited production. There is a also a little extra cost for CF scales. I would just as soon have G10 myself. But I bought one just because, but only one.
 
I had everyone on my street buy one for me:) JK. This is a nice variant. Surprised it wasn't done by Spyderco prior to the KW & BH exclusives. Guessing Spyderco saw it as redundant due to having the Gayle Bradleys in M4.

This Para is worthy of buying Multiples.
 
I'm still on the fence on this one. I'm really wanting a Fiddleback Forge. This would basically make my funds out of reach for that. I did get a Blade HQ Jade M4 so I'm in a quandary. They make new Fiddlebacks every week but not this so I guess maybe I'll have til morning to think on it.

Geez, we have very similar tastes in great knives. I have a Fiddleback Kephart already and that one is going nowhere, but I find myself drawn to some of Andy's other models regardless. And while I'd like to get in on this one, I did grab a jade PM2, so I cannot really justify another M4 PM2. That said, I need not go empty-handed. In 36 hours, arguably the best Mule yet will be offered. While I already have a few Mules, I don't have one in Maxamet so I am looking forward to that one for sure. Since I do not buy knives to look at or display, if I was to pick up the KW PM2, the only debate would be which handle do I take with me today. The end result would be that I would use both of them only half as much--not nearly as exciting for me. YMMV
 
Seems like these are going fast so I just closed my eyes and hit the button. Even though it's over priced, this is a heck of a combo of knife/steel/scale. I decided what the heck it's my first knife of 2016 and hard to go wrong with a Para2 made from top-grade materials.

Does anybody know if this is peel ply CF or what?
 
I jumped on board. Wasn't going to buy what the heck. Hope I intercept the CC monthly statement before the wife.... 😁

Well I bit the bullet and got one. It won't be available again, at least not with a huge "tax" attached to it. I'm a huge fan of the pm2 so I won't be disappointed for sure.
