Laid off

Still thinking about this this evening, Andy. Smoke and prayers for a positive outcome. Had a drink or three in your honor this evening, bro.:cool:

I know you'll get through just fine Andy, but sorry to hear it. I hope things turn around for you quickly.

Thanks again and again guys.

Sorry to hear it, Andy. It happened to me last year, hang in there, it will get better.

Email me your resume. I might know some people who might know some people depending on what your job description is.

That really sucks, sorry man.
One good thing is that you have a profitable (I hope) sideline that will keep you in the black. Maybe it's time to turn it into your profession. What do you think?

I went through this a couple of times, and knifemaking made up for the cash shortfall. You will come through this just fine.

Best of luck to you Andy. Now you can put more time into your knifemaking. Hopefully see you at the end of the month.
Scott

Damn! I feel for you. If the kids are healthy and there's beer in the fridge (and you don't have to downgrade to Budweiser), you'll be able to work your way through it.

Smoke and prayers from this quarter brother. Make a few more knives. Keep busy it'll keep ya from going nuts.

aahhh man.. what a bummer Andy.... sorry to hear that bro...:( looks like you'll have to make knives full time now...

I got laid off in Dec '08. Got a part time job at Home Depot in Feb '08 to save up extra $ for a down payment on a house. Been at HD full time the last few months. I hate it but its a job, $, and medical/dental.

Hang in there. Hell, if Ren can get a job, we can too. :D:thumbup:

j/k Ren!:p

Sorry to hear that. I will be thinking and praying for you guys. In the mean time I hope we see you pump out a lot of sweet knives!

Allen
