...does it just flop open?
I don't have many but I was gifted this a few years back. It is a Frost Cutlery "knife". The spikes in the blade aren't even sharpened xD When I was first experimenting with Acid Stone washing, this was one of the knives I was messing around with. It used to have a satin finish. What really stinks is that the pivot screws require a special spanner wrench of sorts to tighten. Even if you did have one, you would scratch the blue finish to bits. that is why the blade is so loose and terribly off center
The handle is terribly uncomfortable as well

Damn Blues Bender, I thought you had this thing locked up but now I'm not so sure!!
I hope I'm not too late. I have lamer knives than this, but not handy at the moment. I'll post them tomorrow even if it's just for fun. This one is a camp brand knife, full rubber handle (no liner ao anything), the lock doesn't work at all, it just kind of flops around, and the gut hook doesn't go into the handle, so it gets caught on absolutely everything be it a pocket, your hand, or whatever. I've been hooked more than once on the stupid thing.![]()

I have worse ones that I will put up tomorrow, I hope the contest is still happening then.
Nice, I've never seen another. Does yours lock or does it just flop open?
haha I never saw another either! Mine doesn't lock it's a slip joint. Do you have any idea how long you've had yours? I think I've had mine since the early 1990s

I wansn't going to enter but, I recently acquired a new piece of awesomeness.
If a Jarbenza had an automatic brother, this would be it.
Painted aluminum textured slabs
Serrated tanto blade of 44 O Stainless
A thumb hole that does nothing
Jimping!! Three big ones!
A button that almost made it open ( oiling the joint helped but it's still weak)
No maker name or country of origin. I suspect the Lady of the Lake had something to do with it's creation.
