Lame Winners Announced! Lamest knife contest

I have for your consideration a beautiful specimen, one that is simply breathtaking to behold. This is the finest pocket knife that has ever came out of Pakistan. It was custom built for Shaquille O'Neal, as he is the only human alive that would make this knife look normal sized. The edge is exceptional, and compares to the finest butter knifes in my kitchen. Notice the exquisite wooden handles, and the gorgeous patina that they display. The corrosion that encircles the blades shows the true vintage age and collectability of this precious artifact.

*Ok, for the true story about this genuine POS, my family moved to North Dakota for a time when I was 7, and moved back to Kentucky when I was 9. I was really into collecting knives by this point, and a friend of the family gave it to me as a going away present. I don't really have the heart to throw it away, but I could probably chew through something faster than this thing would cut it.*

Thanks for the opportunity!

Lots of people are google imaging pics of knives that aren't theirs. You should make it where you have to post a pic of the knife with your ID written near it to have a valid entry.

I'm getting a good chuckle from everything, here, but yes, you need to actually own or have owned the knife to win. The pics should be your own.

My grandma gave me this beauty that you have to open with pliers.

In that case, here is a tiny little knife given to me by a non knife person

Looks fine and all, if a little small right? Well here is the locking mechanism.

See it? No? That's because there isn't one. The blade just flops open. I guess I'm not surprised though.

Not as bad as many of the others but here are the dregs of my very small collection. A Gerber Paraframe that looked cool at the time but doesnt hold an edge (which is probably good because it would cut my fingers wihile digging in my pocket). Also a CRKT Guppie that has a very small blade that I can't really get a good hold on with the woke carabiner thing. No expectations of winning but wanted to throw in my 2 cents.

This old Imperial(s) is the lamest knife I have owned. The handle coating peels right off the frame. The blades are so thin that they are bad for even carving wood with, the blades are brittle. The frame is so flimsy that the blades loosen up when you carve as gently as you can. The only real use for them is a letter opener or box cutter. The only thing that I do like about imperials is how they hold an edge. The Rockwell is so high, which makes the blades very brittle..

Was a very cheap one so it broke but the blade is actually pretty decent so gonna start a small project and make a handle for it and make it a small fixed blade.

used to look like this.

Man oh man, I think my teenage years spending my allowance at the knife bazaar at the local mall has finally paid off. Brace yourselves.... :barf:

Unfortunately I couldn't find my show stopper, I must have canned it.

Lighting bolt

Lockup

There are a lot of serious knife collectors here that are showing some pretty lame stuff :applouse:

Love the Lightning Bolt Korben. I bet that thing cuts like a light saber :D . I have to put my entry in as well. Since I am the "knife guy" in the family my mother-in-law always has that in mind and gives me some gift in that vein for Christmas. Here was last years entry. The mini Bullet knife that came with it is really the coup de gras:

I cannot imagine trying to sharpen the 3 stage edge on that lightning bolt... Just wow.

How about a lame balisong courtesy of the local smoke shop? Check out those ultra high precision pins and razor sharp edge!
It can't even cut cardboard. No matter how hard you try. It just dents it.

I have been waiting for this moment. My Grandma in FL that loves flea markets found out I like knives, and sent to me this treasure that I have cherished ever since.

Beautiful hanging wall ornament?

Yes, you see correctly. That is a tiny smatchet hidden in howling wolf in the mountains wall decoration.

omg, I think I pee'd my pants a little!

Just so you all know, I will be using my family as judges for the most lame knife. I will have the final say, but I thought it would be fun to have them all participate. We will be picking winners on Monday evening.

It's a mean cutter. And remember, lightning never strikes in the same place twice ;)

That bullet made me laugh so hard I started crying!
Your mom in law is awesome!

Here is a knife that actually used to be not so lame. It was one of my favorites when I was a kid. Then I had one of my dad's friends "sharpen" it for me. There are no words to describe how my stomach sank when I got it back!
