"Lanny's Clip" Picture Thread

No one has added a new photo to this thread in quite a while so here goes, you guys can
just call me a "LannyTic"! When I first saw this Tony Bose design, it truly found a spot in my heart
or maybe my pocket. I have been trying to collect at least one Lanny from some of the finest
knife makers in the world and I figured it was about time to expose this grouping, that I am
so proud of, I hope you fellers appreciate these knives as much as I do, enjoy!
Left top; Hampton_Stag, Brewer_Stag, 3 K.R.Johnson's_Bone,Micarta_Ivory...
Right top; R. Bose_Ivory, Ploppert_Ivory and Cramer_Ebony...

I love this design and can't wait to add more of them to my collection.
It's probably my all time favorite pattern.

Thanks Tony!!!

I would appreciate a little help here, can someone explain to me why images are so much smaller than other "registered users">
Thanx, I know when I find out I'll feel even dumber, but help please...

Your photos are fine, Jeff as they can be enlarged by clicking on them. Those who's photos appear larger are using an image hosting site such as Photobucket, Image Shack, etc.

I think it's because you are uploading them to your account here. The others are uploading to a hosting service such as photobucket and inserting links to them.

The newest addition to my collection arrived yesterday and it's another beauty! This one from Enrique Pena, wonderful jigged bone
with great color!

Love this knife and after a little over 6 months it is not quite as pristine. :D.

Another one by Kerry with a matchstriker pull in 52100.

How did this beautiful thread not keep going:)

And what current makers do you all feel provide the best combination of price and quality right now in a Lanny's Clip?

Thanks.

Aesthetically, this design is hard to beat I think, some simply stunning examples :)

That is a great looking knife. It's all in how you insert the picture. Here is the link to your enlarged photo, with IMG tags wrapped around the URL. I used the BladeForum link from your above post in the same manner as a PhotoBucket hosting site.

I love this design (and thread), and that last KR Johnson with the lanyard is just superb.

No LC for me yet, but mine is on order from Bret Dowell--I'm thinking shadow pattern in natural micarta, with lanyard. I don't know at this point what steels Bret is working with, but in a dream world I'd convince him to try CPM-M4. I'm pretty sure I'd never need another knife...:D

Cheers,
Daniel
