- too right......you gotta have more than one ;)

About four years ago, I wasn't at all keen on Lanny Clips - did nothing for me at all.

I saw this one advertised as used and not a bad price and bought it.......

..........was sold and bowled - it fits so well in the hand, just right. Now, I have one or two more

I actually liked them from the first time I saw them. However, they were always on the large size and as they all seemed to be customs they were priced out of my collection. Then I found John Lloyd and lucked out on one of his LCs on the secondary market. It was priced right and 'mama bear' size. It may not be the perfect suburban carry but like my neighbors who drive giant SUVs you'll have to forgive me.

- no forgiveness needed joeradza joeradza - all sizes all types are just as good to us as the next fella's. Would that I could with some of the new Pena's, Ruple's and similar........but out of my reach I think.

Only quite recently, in collecting and using terms, that I latched on to slippies at all. Knife-buying trends and styles have changed in me a lot over the years. Most of my carries now are sub 3" folders for obvious reasons here in UK

- gorgeous, Gary.............such a warm glow to the stag, beautiful

Gary:

Thanks, Paul. Like you mentioned, the LC is really comfortable in hand. The wide clip makes it a great slicer too!
You have a couple of nice ones there! The Stag Dunlap is a looker too.

I posted this one when the thread first opened. Since the Photobucket ransom corrupted the image I'm posting it again.
Here's one made by Brent Cramer. 3 1/2" with a CPM-154 blade. Just the perfect size for me.

That is one of the prettiest knives I have seen on here yet, what a treasure!

I too like the smaller sizes. This one is 3-5/8”. Acid etched M4 steel with TeroTuf scales. Interesting fact, the spring is made from A2 steel. (Pictures are courtesy of Bret)

That's a smart choice. A2 will make for a tough, long-lived backspring, and it has similar chromium to M4, so the acid patina looks nice and uniform.
