Been carrying a Benchmade 810 Contego for EDC lately, and I've grown to like larger blades. And before someone says "you have no use for a large folder", save it. I want to know who else carries a large folder for EDC?

Been carrying an Emerson Super Commander and ZT 0392PURBLKWC lately.
Neither one is exactly tiny. :)

At one time I carried a Buck 110 in my pocket. I didn't mind it actually, just find for most tasks a smaller 2 3/4" blade is more comfortable to use. I do have a Case Backpocket that's threatening to invade my front pocket though.

I carry my Contego and Adamas as a pair a lot! Don't even notice them!

The large Sebbie 25 and Zaan are the largest that I have carried for any length of time.

Yes, as i often will say, if it aint longer than my shortest finger, it is more of a toy than a working mans knife, though i do have very small hands, and of course, the handle shape and length is very significant
My Lionsteel SR-2DL i have on me damn near all day every day is right at the limit

Cutting some hot wheels star wars ship model boxes up with my ZT 804 right now

I tend to carry 3.5-4" minimum folders as main EDC blade because I hate not having enough blade length (especially for food prep, gardening and when stuff can get in the pivot area) and I like having reach

Always backed up by a Multitool or SAK to cut things when sensitive or susceptible people are around, or most urban tasks I find on a daily basis

I've found the Spyderco K2 to be remarkably easy to carry for its size... fun too! Usually, however, I prefer smaller EDC knives.

I sometimes carry my Cold Steel Large Espada or XL Talwar. I also have an XL Espada, but it's too big even for me. :D

SOG Spec elite II for me when I want to carry large and my H&K Scorch for those stealth days, but I love em both!

I carry all different sizes, from 2.5 to 4 inch. Most of mine are between 3- 3.5, and sometimes I carry a big folder, along with a small in the other pocket. Just depends on what I am doing that day.

Been EDCing 4" folders for almost 30 years now, sometimes like in summer carry it alone.
Started out with classic Italian switchblade auto, Valor & Benchmade butterflies for 5 yrs, moved to BM CQC-7 for 10 yrs, currently primary slim light weight BM-710 & BM Stryker Tanto, occasionally following ZT0200, ZT0600, SOG Fatcat & Tomcat. 4" is perfect size for EDC folder for me.

My last 3 EDC's have been an SMF, a Praetorian, and a large Insingo.

Anything less than a 3.5 inch blade just doesn't work for the things I do, and the way I like a knife to feel considering OAL.

My EDC rotation contains 2 of the Manix 2 XLs and I carry them to my office. I also carry a Military but usually on weekends. (The smallest knife in my EDC rotation is the PM2.)

Cold Steel 4Max as EDC since May. Once I find a way to get the Spyderco K2 to tip up it will see the pocket too.
