Large inkosi just announced for Bladeshow in Instagram.

Cool... so they are back to old boxes? I like those much better then the new ones.

Got mine today as well and yes, mine came in the small box. So far so good. I have had a couple of 21's in the past so if anyone is interested I can provide a little review (my thoughts/opinions) in the next few days.

I got one from a authorized dealer. It came in the original small box. No tools, though the cards said tools would be provided. (The dealer is calling CRK to check on this as all 10 of the ones they received from Blade did not come with tools). Came with the new darker cloth. Birthdate was 06/01/2016.... Needless to say after less than an hour of handling it, I returned it. The angled clip works so well on my beloved small Inkosi and actually creates a huge hotspot in my hand on the Large Inkosi. Like a ridiculous hotspot. I never had a problem with the 25 clip placement. So looks like I will be sticking to my Large 21, Umnumzaan and the best model ever (IMO) the SMALL Inkosi

It appears the chamfering where you disengage the lockbar on the Large Inkosi is the same as on the 25 and does not mimic the lockbar chamfering on the Small Inkosi. Is this correct?

My CRK25 is my most carried knife by far. If the Large Inkosi is truly an upgraded 25 I will be getting one for sure. Cody mentioned a pivot upgrade. What specifically is upgraded about the pivot? I will be checking one out when I can get it for retail price.

The pivot is the same. The washers are upgraded and the stop pin now is clear of the blade tang (no notch). The washers are a little controversial, because they do not feature the closed holes that are present on the small Inkosi (keeping all the cut outs blocked by the blade), but who know if that matters anyways

Im sure they will fix the washer thing. No reason not too. I doubt it would be much of an issue. But no doubt will junk get in there. I'm hoping they add washers to the parts list for the ti lock and inkosi. No reason not to really. It would cut down on wait times at the shop i think and benefit everybody. Unlike the need for fitting 21 washers.

Cody,
Thanks for the clarification.
