Large inkosi just announced for Bladeshow in Instagram.

Well im feeling lucky...just had a buddy pick me up a Large Inkosi at Blade! Im pumped, as ive been waiting for this model. The 25 has always been my fav CRK and am looking forward to the improvements!

I guess CRK is selling some Larger Inkosi at the show since one already popped up in the exchange.

Wish someone would post pics of the non limited edition one. :)

I love my 25 so I'm very curious about the Large Inkosi and how it compares.

I picked up a large and small Inkosi at Blade. Disappointed Mr. Reece isn't at this years show and that Heather is no longer with the company.
I am loving both of these knives.

So is the large ~3.6" like the 25 and does the pocket clip angle on it like the small?

CRK also told me that a micarta small and large Inkosi would be available this fall sometime.

To me it's not a matter of "upgrading" to the latest and greatest, it's simply getting a new CRK. I have the 25 and sm Inkosi. No intention of ever abandoning either. They are great knives in my estimation.
I'm looking forward to the lg Ink, but as a lefty, the wait will be long.
Congratulations to all who have and will get these. Keep us less fortunate lefties abreast of your opinions on your new Ink.

Sorry in advance if this was already brought up and I missed it........does anyone know if these can be pre-ordered and if so, where? Thanks in advance!

Not as of yet. They just had 90 for the show but were ramping up production now according to what CRK was saying. I'm sure that you will start seeing some start to pop up soon though. CRK said that they were looking at an August or September general release.

After 4 years I expected more. I have the original 25 and these days use it more than my other CRKs but for some reason I expected something fresh and different and this Blade's "unveiling" leaves my noodle limp. Ehhh who knows. Maybe Sal and co are spoiling me. I'll definitely get the sm inkosi soon but after reading many of today's posts and looking at images of the lg I just don't understand the decision to reveal the lg inkosi for Blade.

The big surprise was not the large Inkosi. That's been speculated on for a while. We all knew it was coming. Just not if it was medium or large.

It was the limited edition one that was the surprise.

Keeping my 2 25's. Don't see any need for "improvement". Hope future servicing isn't an issue in 25 years.;)

I don't point this out to be a jerk, just because it is interesting to me, and I think says a lot about human nature. For many years we have heard this argument about how the 25 had "improved" on the 21, with fellas in both camps arguing for and against that concept. The irony of course was that the "25 people" would put forth that the 25 was clearly an evolution, and those stuck in the past with their 21s should "get with the times"

Now here we are several years later, with the large Inkosi, which is quite clearly an "improved" Sebenza 25, and some of the same sentiments have come back up, only now the tables are turned, and the 25 guys are defending the past and refuting the future. Like the differences between the Classic and the 21, the changes are subtle, and it's likely not worth remortgaging your house for the upgrade to the Inkosi, but let's face facts and give CRK full credit for continuing the evolution of this knife.

There is no drastic difference between the knives and certainly the 25 is a fine folder. Having said that CRK has clearly and succinctly addressed the major complaints about the 25, which I think is fantastic, and shows the company is still "alive". Here is a list of what the most common issues guys had with the 25, that are all addressed by the Inkosi:

-25 Pocket clip hot spot complaint - dealt with / Inkosi angled clip.
-25 Notched stop pin complaint - dealt with / Inkosi press fit stop pin.
-25 Pinched washer tab complaint - dealt with / Inkosi washers are flat and butted to stop pin.
-25 Inlay design complaint - dealt with / Inkosi has different proportions for inlay.

I cannot wait to get my hands on an inlayed version this fall.

Bingo! +100

The inlay idea is great. I'd mentioned wanting something that shows patina on a past inlay concept thread. But like you said here they missed the mark with this type of bronze. I wonder how heavy it is.
