223 great one, wish I thought of thatthe F looks good but for the B it would maby to make the lower case b a spiked guard with the knife coming out like you had it? Just a suggestion

Ya, I played around with a few different things but I really wanted to reduce it down and keep it simple.
If Spark would like to see that I can definitely throw some more possibilities together!

Everyone can keep going, I'll know what I like when I see it. Don't get too fixated on the double edged dagger either, let your imaginations flow. There's some great ideas coming through.
I don't have a good drawing tool/application to create what I have in mind. Would you accept a crude drawing created with pencil and pad that was captured in a photograph as a starter? If the concept has any interest then I could figure out how to proceed with a vector drawing.

That last one made me laugh out loud. The outline font used (don't know the name of it) screams college sports sweatshirt. Add in the F-S dagger and the juxtaposition is hilarious.We having fun yet?!

How would this look with the "f" going through the loop of the "b"? Conceptually and stylistically, you're definitely onto something. Seperated, though, the letters just look too far apart and the overall logo too sparse. Maybe combining them somewhat would help tighten the package.
Here's a rough idea, but I don't think it really fits the general vibe of ALL the forums as a singular entity. Still, it's kinda fun:
When I get some time, I'm going to try to make the letters look more like the tools they represent. Too busy, but like I said, fun.

You guys are familiar with the traditional BladeForums logo:
We've had this for around 14 years. I love it, but it's pretty complicated and causes issues when I try to use it in other projects.
With that in mind, I'm opening up the floor for submissions for a new logo for the site. Simple is better than complex, this logo will be used on tshirts, engraving, and various other projects upcoming.
Logo should contain the text BF, BFC or BladeForums on it. Whether you want to add .com to the end of BladeForums is up to you.
I will need vector type high resolution artwork from the winner of the contest. Color logos should be able to be grayscaled or converted to single color without issues.
I don't know if Spark is going to go with his Favorite or pick several or ask for revisions. So I am just going to tweak the design that I have and try to keep it as close to what was requested as I can. I tried to balance the space a little better, expanded the type and knocked it down to 2 colors from 3 and allowed no gradients or halftones except in the gray-scaled image (for single color) and even that could be rendered into a single solid color if needed for Foil Stamping or Vinyl window decals. I hope I covered all the bases.
Of course some of my co workers think the blade should have blood dripping off the edge
but I think not.
