Well it was fun!!!!! I'm going to love the knife regardless of the shield.

I'd like to humbly thank all those who made this possible, thank you for giving me the knife I wanted for a 3rd year in a row and to the guys who lost, it was a good race, better luck next year.

I just want to add one thing, if your deciding factor was only the shield please consider buying the knife anyway, in 9 years of forum knives we've made, I've never heard someone say I'm sorry I bought one but I've heard many say they wish they had gotten one anyway.

Now that the choices are made the real hard part comes, the waiting.... :)
 
Yes I am humbled by the degree that some are willing to take on this effort on behalf of the rest of us! Thanks to all, while I am glad the Bomb won, I would have bought either style (now I might buy two:)) Steven
 
This has been a great thread, even though the bowtie lost I am really excited about this knife. Thank you Charlie and everyone else that has had a hand in making yet another great forum knife.
