Last time I looked there were still a few of the 2009 forum knives floating around on the 2ndary market. It should be easy to find, but if you don't see it then send me a PM and I'll look up the link.

I find the lack of interest in what's traditional somewhat baffling in a forum about traditional knives. I guess looking at features on a knife then becomes something like interior decorating or accessorizing.

And I don't think it's really a "lack" of interest, but more so an addiction to non-monogamous relationships between handle materials, blade steels, and shields ;). GEC for example, does it right! They cater to the traditional platform, as well as put a sprinkle or two of their own seasoning (flavor) on items from time to time. All the while, staying close to home or what some would consider grandads knives.

Though I will say..... I'm partial to non-locking blades, CV steel, and patinas when it comes to my traditional knives. After all, every patina has a story to tell ;).
 
even if it was a hammer and sickle or a boomerang or any of the myriad things that I cannot mention I'm still up for one.:D
 
If it was a dead tie I could go with a coin flip, fast, fair and wouldn't take but a few seconds to do. Now if the short bomb is ahead by 1 vote I say go short bomb. (Same applies for the bowtie)

Now looking at the shields if the bowtie were centered over the pin it would look ok but bottom line, the short bomb's the bomb... :)

IMO a boomerang would suit the knife perfectly, centered and arching away from the pin, a Straight rounded end bar would work too.

I voted small bomb way back, a week ago :D
