1. When was the last time you intentionally left home without a knife?
2. When was the last time you accidentally left home without a knife?

Did anything make you wish you had brought one with you? Discuss please.

last time I went on a plnae but I had my spyderco navigator in my checked luggage, there areliterally know times when I leave the house without a knife other than that

On purpose, it was a few years ago in Boy Scouts, we went to see the USS Alabama we weren't able to have knives (or multitools) on the ship, needless to say the 8 hour drive with 14 other boys was...how should I put this.."intersting" lol. I learned inside the hull its very hot during the day and extremely cold during the night (of course I wound up without my sleeping bag infront of the cooling vent, but that's a story for another time)

Can't really rember that last time I left accidentally without a knife.

Intentionally... Today. Accidentally... Never.

I'm doing a drug/alcohol treatment program at the VA Mon-Fri so no toys til I am done for the day. What they fail to realize is that I am a trained killer and therefore, I AM a weapon.

Ha ha ha ha, one look at that grin of yours and the medics should call security !!!
j/k, it's the VA, right. All you guys are trained killers, that's why you're there. :p
You came a long way from getting shot at, you earned a lot of respect.

last time i left intentionally was when I was going to the airport and taking no checked luggage. However I usually check my luggage and put a small knife in there.
can't remember the last time I left without one on accident. I know there have been a couple times, but I keep a SAK Hiker in my car, and a small modern folder in my bicycle bag. So if I leave the house without one and take either of those modes of transportation I usually end up pocketing one of them if I realize my mistake.

An hour ago I left my ex-wife and her lawyer.
That's why today was not carrying a knife, better ex-wife and attorney living ...
I'm too pretty to go to jail

I have never ever carry a knife out of my own home in my entire life. :)

Oh just once, i carried the Kukri from HI delivered to my office then I carried it back home

I keep a Vic. Classic on my keychain and a multitool on my belt. I don't count them as real knives, so I like to rotate tactical folders in my back pocket or messenger bag. Sometimes I travel light and leave the folder at home.

today I forgot to put a knife in my right pocket. But the Izula is at the left boot, and there are 5 knives in the backpack so...yep, forgot my pocket knife :D

Intentional: never.
Accidentally: I left the house in a hurry and didn't grab a folder. However, I always keep a box cutter in the glove compartment of the car, which served as my knife for the day. It never left my pocket.

Last time I intentionally left without one was air travel from England back to Canada (spent 9 months in London taking a break from life).

A couple weeks ago I went to work without a knife and it created quite the "void" feeling in the pocket and soul. I work in an office but everyday find myself using my knife for something.

When I left for the airport to fly out of town a few weeks ago. I felt odd the whole time!

2. When was the last time you accidentally left home without a knife?
Can't remember that happening in years.

Well, yes, when I arrived at my destination I needed a knife to cut open some packaging, so I then had to rummage through my luggage to retrieve the knife that I had put in my checked baggage.

I use my pocket knife every day.

best

Unintentionally, not that I can recall. If nothing else I have a small CRKT KISS I use as a money clip.

Intentionally, can't recall although at Kennedy Space Center I had my ZT 0350 on me which is a no no but they let it slide, its a tool. When going for gun permit at the court house, I accidentially was able to get it through security with the KISS and another small knife in an Altoid tin. I fessed up and showed the guards. Hell, I even bring one to the pool but keep it in a bag.

You sure your on the right forum? lol You either live in one of the peoples republics or europe (same difference)

I've always kept a few knives in the same place my wallet and keys go, so its probably been a very long time.
I don't remember ever leaving without one. I started carrying every day around the 5th grade, so I probably have left home without one since then.

I flew to Colorado a couple years ago, and only had carry on luggage, so no knife with me then.

Intentionally: can't remember-probably around 3-4 years ago
Accidentally: every once in a great while I will walk out the door without a knife. Luckily I keep a back up EDc in the truck lol
