Last Time You Left Without a Knife?

The last time I intentionally didn't carry a knife was when I went into the Capitol building in Washington D.C. last summer. While on the tour there, I found it ironic to hear all the talk about freedom yet if I tried to carry my 2" pocket knife I would have been jailed.

I haven't intentionally left the house/dorm/barracks/ship without a knife since probably 1963 or 1964 EXCEPT when the Navy flew me to Korea/Japan/Singapore/Phillippines 2x per year 1988 through 1995. Even while on active duty on ships on in schools I carried at least 2 folders. I haven't flown, even domestically, since 9/11 no problems there. It's been cheaper to drive to CA/NV/GA since I got the Prius than to fly and rent a car, even with a hotel stop there and back. I like 55 mpg.

Accidently??? Never. By routine, my knives go on hip/in pocket even before the wallet or keys. And even if I did, each vehicle has at least 2 knives in it somewhere.:D

Intentionally going to a New York to see a Mets game and every time I go o NYC .
Accidentally about a month ago but I always have a backup knife in my work backpack.

Left home without a knife? Probably not for 45 years. They are tools for me and I use them every day.
Intentionally? In 1989 I had to pick up a friend at the airport and left my knife in the car for ALL the obvious reasons. Put it right back in my pocket when we got back to the car.
Accidently? Never.

Ive forgotton my watch, glasses, keys, i.D. Card, coffee, and wife .... But never a knife

The last time I intentionally didn't carry a knife was when I went with my wife to court to fight a speeding ticket.
And I don't remember ever forgetting to carry a blade.

Intentionally- I don't. Even if I am going somewhere that is not knife friendly I will at least have it until I get out of my car.
Accidentally- about a month ago we left in a hurry. I felt incomplete:grumpy:
