I never accidentally leave them I have a bit of ocd when leaving the house. "cell phone left front pocket, wallet left rear pocket, knife right front pocket and keys in hand". Never fails :) I get an unfulfilled feeling when I have to leave them behind hahaha

I do something similar. I always think about Austin Powers when I do it, "spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch". I substitute spectacles with cellphone and knife.
 
I intentionally didn't bring a knife with me when I was flying last week, but had 2 knives and a multitool in my checked bag.
I haven't accidentally left without a knife in a couple years.
 
I seriously cannot recall ever not having some sort of blade on or about my person...I carry so damn many around, help me!

Intentionally, about 12 hours ago when I went on a run :)

Accidentally, about 26 hours ago when I went on a Taco Bell run :D My girlfriend is a health nut, so when she suggested the Bell for a midnight snack I was so excited I forgot to grab a knife on the way out the door. I also forgot my shoes.
 
Intentionally - last Spring. Was flying and didn't check in any bags

Intentionally, probably last summer as a camp counselor. Of course it was annoying (though sometimes it may seem like I can get by ok).

Un-intentionally, just a couple of weeks ago. It's been happening a lot more often lately. Usually I imagine being trapped in a burning car when I do that, sometimes it's enough to make me go back.

Intentionally? Probably years ago in high school. I had/have a blue SAK on my house key, keychain. I didn't always bring my keys to school though, some days one of my parents would be home and i wouldn't need it.
accidentally? Never. I've forgotten my shoes more than my pocket knives.
 
Intentionally - last time I went out drinking with mates.
Unintentionally - Wednesday, and it was one of those times where having any knife would have made life a lot more convenient.
 
Learned my lesson well once, about 40 years ago when I was a teen. I went on a canoe trip, and when I looked down on my belt at the portage I noticed that I had not put on my fixed blade. It was a moment I will never forget, and a lesson well learned.
 
Well, I'm intending to leave the house without a knife between this and an hour. A buddy of mine is supposed to graduate from flight academy today, and his parents stopped by to ask if I could come to the surprise party at the airport. Airports and knives are not the best of friends, so I'll leave my stuff at home :-).
 
had to fly out to Vegas last month. Took only a carry on bag, and flew with no knife.

Can't recall ever leaving home without a knife by accident though. Certainly not since I was a wee lad.

Every day I go to work...so about 6 hours ago.




When im off almost never.
 
Everyday when I go to the gym. Its not on my person but its definitely in the car.
 
Intentionally: Plane ride to and from Hawaii. Had a benchmade fixed blade and a crkt folder in my checked bage.
Accidentally: Ran out of the house because we were late and forgot my edc. Sure as shit we got out of the truck and a older fellow came up to me asking if I had a knife om me. He was trying to make a funnel out of a coke bottle to put oil in his truck. Nobody had a knife so he ended up just spilling oil al over his engine trying to get it into the hole. :eek:
 
Intentionally... I always take a knife with me. I do have to leave it in the vehicle though when I go to the courthouse, which is a lot!

Unintentionally...Several years. I put my knife, wallet, phone and keys together now. It's almost impossible to forget a knife anymore.

Glock 20SF rides everywhere too with 61 rounds of Underwood ammo.

I can't think of a time when I intentionally left without a knife. Yesterday I laid my knife on the passenger seat of my car, and it bugged me until I got it back.
