Numbers are crazy.. hard to grasp how big they are..
A "million" minutes is 1 year 329 days
A "billion" minutes is about 2000 years
A "Trillion" minutes is 1,901,280 years
Or in "seconds" a trillion seconds is 31,688 years!!
A trillion pennies is 10 billion dollars!!
 
So, what are the Busse Night Owls up to this fine evening? Personally I just got home from work and 'bout to relax with a couple homebrews and some Uncharted 4.

Say, come to think of it, a Busse Night Owl sounds like a badass name for a new model. I wonder what she'd look like...?

The camp cleaver got me thinking, Busse should design a cleaver-ish blade designed for chopping/utility kind of camp duties.. with maybe a radius edge.. you guys know the "brown tracker" blade design that is so popular... it could be similar to that maybe a touch bigger that the camp cleaver..an designed with utility in mind more than food chopping...Idk... I think it would be unique an bad ass...
 
I'm usually up late, playing computer games and watching Netflix haha. You guys ever heard of Skinwalkers? Some old southwest myth I found fascinating.

Oh ya!! I've heard of them for sure.. that was a favorite campfire topic growing up..kept us all up though..you see that pic of one someone caught on camera standing on all fours in a road..freaky
 
I saw that , very freaky, some of my camping trips I feel better having the TGLB close in the deep woods at night.
 
When I was like 14 we hiked up on this hillside full of tall grass and scrub oak to go paintballing. ..we had been up there an hour or so when our friend screamed that kind of screem that makes your skin crawl... he came tearing out of the trees in shit terror..we were all scared stiff as he ran past us, then my cousin Luke apperently saw what he saw cause I just remember his brand new paintball gun hit the dirt an he took off. The rest of us began to run when I saw what he saw..as I ran i saw a tall black figure like 9 or 10 feet tall moving through the trees FAST..it didn't seem to step so much as glide..its looked like a super tall skinny person.. and I can remember hearing it push through the tall dead grass.. it gives me chills even now. Micah, the friend who saw it first still won't talk about it in detail.. when we met up back home we were white with fear.. we went back about 3 days later with a huge group an nathens dads gun to get Lukes paintball gun..we found it under some weeds an branches like 100 feet from where he dropped it..it just added to the weird. Anyway like 3 years ago from now...I saw a YouTube about a myth called the "slender man"..an when I saw the mock up art an pictures..I about $hit my pants..I'm convinced that was it was..I tried to show Micah an when he realized what I was showing him he just said "no!! Don't you f-ing even!!"
I got chills now guys!!

I was reading about skinwalkers recently, actually. Apparently most people absolutely refuse to talk about them, so there's very little known. Fascinating topic, really. Supposedly those who see one rarely live to tell the tale. They're supposed to be pure evil. I'll be the first to admit that I hate even thinking about creepy things like that, and yet I still find them fascinating. All the more reason to have a Busse Night Owl. The only blade to protect against things that go bump in the night! We did it with the BB13, we can do it with the Night Owl! Who's with me?!
 
Allow me to admit, I may have had one too many beers. I still stand behind my statement though. I think we could make this into a boss blade. C'mon folks, leave your input! Let's make this blade a reality for O2W part 2! Night Owl FTW!

Perfect! It even looks like a bat wing! And bats are creatures of the night! Wait, no, bat...right. No, we need an owl wing. And that'd look boring. An owl talon, maybe? Unless we make it a Flying Night Owl! Hmm...
 
What I'd love to see is a 3.8" (ish) long 1" wide blade, 4.5" very ergonomic handle, full flat grind with swedge, sharp bayonet point, no choil (that means NO choil. No finger choil, elf choil, or sharpening choil), nice palm swell, 1/8" stock, no thumb ramp.

It would be perfect for my every day uses.

Hell, with the extensive catalog it might already be out there and I haven't done enough research to find it.

I'm cold ass sober an I think that would make a SICK blade name... I think this thread is gonna accumulate some damn good booze inspired ideas over time..
