thank you for sharing. Hanwei is knife Maker company in North of China. they mainly do high class knives. I will try to bring more pictures of their knives.
By the way, I am a fan of Lock Back knives.

Do you have their website, I really want to check their knives?
thank you advance

The company website is www.cashanwei.com though it seems by your most recent post you're already familiar with them? They started out as, and remain primarily, a producer of functional production swords, but recently branched out into the outdoor and EDC knives market with their Rock Creek line.

some small knives.
I love small knives (fix or folder ) with good hand work and not bad steel(for steel, as I never have to use them in extremely condition, so realy 8Cr17Mov, 7Cr17Mov is enough).

I just googled their Chinese website and got a rough idea of their product.
Will sure contact us to get more information.

Spent a week at the beach with a srm 710 as my edc knife. Even spent a day where it was in the ocean for several hours. It picked up a few spots, which clean up easily. It also held its edge all week with no sharpening. I can also give nice compliments to my wife's boker "cruel girl ", which she used in a similar fashion.

Nice. Thanks for sharing.

I recently got a bunch of srms, enlans, and a couple other chinese brand labeled knives. So far I am highly impressed with all. For 10-14 bucks, you cannot do better. All are the level of tenacious quality. Of course I always liked my chinese made spydercos, and I also like 8cr13mov steel, which I guess makes me odd as well?

That steel, for the money, sharpens up easily, holds a good edge, and doesn't rust while in my sweaty pocket when I'm in the swamp, like aus 8 and 12c27 sandvik does.

I would like to see srm or one of its other brands create a unique chinese design, traditional blade shapes or moderns for export to the usa.

Yes, we should do more our own design

Those fixed blades look like an indigenous design, and the handles look like bamboo nodes. I suspect something like this will sell very well in the north american market, because it looks unique.
it is not bamboo handle. wood handle with some steel and copper rings inlays. handle is in ellipse shaped for better holding.
I personally love these two babies.

Yes, I knew that they were not bamboo, they looked like bamboo to my eyes. I like the way the top one looks!

that bottom fixed blade really catches my eye, wonder if they can get that in a carbon steel

I understand that there are certain rules for knives that are allowed and are not allowed in China. Any idea what they are? Since I'm in China right this very moment and want to make sure that if I can find anything interesting, I can keep it :)
