Man man man.... you boys are GOOD at this stuff...
All I managed to do upt to now is rivet the damn thing together
Not fancy but it works (I needed a sheat in a pinch for a new knife).
I'll have to read, try and learn...
I was doing one of those. I'll have at pic or a scan tomorrow of my efforts. Maybe someone can post it here. Its a long way from good but its not too shabby. I didn't stain it at all. I couldn't fing soft bee's wax so I used my Burt's chapstic and just heated it with a hairdryer. I would like it to be darker. What can I put on it to naturally darken the leather without being too flat brown. Sort of a dark amber is what I like.
a while ago I was haveing a huge amount of trouble with learing how to stitch my first sheath.
I wrote to Ed Fowler and he was nice enough to send me some photocopys of the stitch he uses. The text that was with his photocopys was in good shape, but the actual photos were un-readable.
So, I took the text that Mr Fowler wrote to me, and added my own photos of one of my sheaths being stitched, and set up a page on my 2nd website
