Lemons: BK-16 Mod Discussion and Ideas : Completed Photo's

The chef is my favorite. And the best looking 16 i have seen to date.

Personally i like having my finger as close to the edge as possible. One of the reasons i normally carry a blade with a choil.

All 3 of them are HOT though. :D

Yummy. My fav:

I have to agree with Warrior, the bushcrafter really hits the mark. The reshaping of the plunge, blade and sharpening choil together with the beautiful wood used for the scales sets the customizing bar very high.

+1 and +1 on these thoughts....

Thank you Hawkhead! I am very pleased with how she tuned out.

Thanks WW! I do like being able to get all the way up to the blade on the chef!

All three are so different from each other, crazy they all started out the same.

Thank you Semper Praesido!

mini bk4 mod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if i had a saber grind 16 i would get a bk10 mod. that would be sweet too

Absolutely wonderful final products. I can't decide if I like the bushy or the chef mod most. They are both amazing.

Has anyone bought one recently and had problems again? I love the BK16 (my favorite knife) and bought another last week and when it arrived the grind was off on the right side of the tip. I sent that back and got another that had the same problem and the coating was slightly crooked. The left sides look perfect, but the rights seem to have issues.

It's going back to the big online store, so that's not a problem, but I don't want to order another right now if it will have the same issues.

I bought a 16 last weekend at SMKW. I haven't noticed any flaws in the grind, and I stripped the coating right away so I really didn't pay any attention to it.

I wouldn't have even noticed the coating if it wasn't for the tip. Coating will come off as I use it, but it was just something I noticed. The grind on the tip is what I care about. I'm probably being particular, but when you've owned ones that came perfect it just bugs me. I'll just send it back and enjoy what I have already.
