let me see your neck knife

All this Woodswalker goodness has rekindled my urge to get one. A buddy was going to do a small run of rehandled WWs with custom kydex, but other obligations backburnered the project for some time. :(

geat pics folks... i'll see if i can get a group shot of all of mine soon..:o

tradja--- i'll keep you posted buddy, but doubt i'll be parting with the LC anytime soon...:D

Mike, you know I'm not trying to badger you, bud! :p It's just that we small fixed blade guys have to stick together. Threads like this make me drool.

This is the awesome Little Creek proto with JeffH kydex that Mike and I are talking about: a wee bit more self-guard than the production LCs and an awesome sheath:

Anyone have more info on the Blackhawk Kalista? I thought it was made in ATS-34 and VG-10 but the only ones I can find are AUS 8A.

my Landi PSK, Kydex sheath, fire steel, ~ 15' of 2.5 mm Spectra line, Photon light and Fox whistle (break away plastic triangle- just in case)

total weight................ 4.7 oz :)

The first gen were better steel. Then they sold few. So they re-released them in less expensive steel.

And, if I am not mistaken, the Kalista was a custom first, I wanna say from Wilson Tactical in ATS-34, then production by Blackhawk in VG-10, now Blackhawk in AUS-8.

Best,
Marion

Mine is ATS-34 and was a gift. Although it is one of my favorites and has a very functional shape, top quality sheath and most of the time never far from reach, I don't think I would pay what they ask for one. Chris

Great pictures Brian! I'm guessing your daughters favorite color is pink. I especially like the 0-1 knife in the third pic.

I just finished this custom Camillus CQB Jr. for myself. It has Bubinga handles with stainless pins and lanyard tube. It came from new old stock. Doug

Nice one, mckrob! Here are some of mine, and even with these I am feeling like I really need another one or two after looking at this thread. Brian, I got a couple of yours and now want at least a couple more after seeing those - your style would translate great and deliver a lot of knife in a 1.5 oz. - 2 oz. necker!

Thanks Broos! I am liking the usability of the small knives I have been making latley. :)

This little Ecos Knives blem showed up today. I've been wanting to check Ecos out. $23 shipped (!!!) for a cool little carbon steel handmade necker. Can't beat it.

Really liking that Ecos necker. Here is mine, gave a strip, patina and a thinner edge bevel. hangs on my neck 24/7 for almost 2 years.
